The Talbot Soil Conservation District (SCD) will host a Local Work Group meeting at 10 AM on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the Talbot Agricultural Service Center, 28577 Marys Court, Suite 3, Easton MD 21601. This meeting is open to the public.

The SCD will be seeking assistance in determining what practices or systems should receive priority funding for Fiscal Year 2022. The purpose of the Local Work Group is to identify county-wide conservation needs, resource concerns and priorities, and pursue recommendations regarding program implementation. The group will seek input and recommendations on all USDA Farm Bill Programs, such as the Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP) and the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP).
